Raphaël Abou

Chief funding officer at Serious Funding

Raphaël Abou is the Founder of Serious Funding and the Chief Funding Officer. His role is to make your startup funding a success. Raphael is also CEO of Allyum, a European Corporate Finance Boutique specialized in Tech Funding.
Finance professional since more than 15 years Raphael advices startups and major companies in different fields: Mergers, Acquisitions, Sale and of course funding.
Entrepreneur, he founded an own company to help companies in their finance issues 10 years ago.

Raphael is a board member of several companies and participates regularly as a juror in startups contests: Solvay entrepreneur, MIT under 35 innovators contests etc.

Michel Tombroff

CEO at Jack Media

Michel joined Jack Media as CEO in February 2016. Previously he was the CEO of Softkinetic (acquired by Sony in 2015). Michel started his career as software engineer at Chorus Systems (Campbell, CA), and became Director of Engineering until the company was acquired by Sun Microsystems (1996). He then joined TIBCO Software (Palo Alto, CA) in 1997 as VP Business Development; TIBCO went public in 1999 (Nasdaq:TIBX) and Michel came back to Europe a few years later to lead TIBCO’s expansion in Europe, until he became CEO of Softkinetic in 2008. He holds a MSc in Computer Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a BSc in Electrical (Civil) Engineering from Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Wim De Wispelaere

VP Advanced Development at Amplidata

Wim De Wispelaere is VP Advanced Development at Western Digital. In this role, Wim is responsible for long term technology research and innovation projects for the HGST Data Center Systems Business Unit. Wim came to Western Digital through the acquisition of Amplidata.
Wim founded Amplidata in 2008 with a couple of university friends. Amplidata invented and developed the scale-up and scale-out object storage software, which is now at the core of the HGST Active Archive product. At Amplidata Wim has been CEO and managed the product strategy as CTO.
Prior to Amplidata, Wim was Director of Product Management and Technical Sales at Data Center Technolgies (DCT), a start-up company that has been acquired in 2005 by Veritas (later Symantec). The data deduplication technology that DCT developed, was then integrated in Veritas Netbackup PureDisk and Backup Exec. At Veritas, Wim was Director of Product Management responsible for the introduction of deduplication and other disk backup technologies.
Prior, Wim worked in the Telco data access space; as Technical Product Manager at Alcatel responsible for the introduction and launch of ADSL high speed internet access technology at Belgacom, Telefonica, Telecom Italia, KPN, BT and others, and at Phillips Professional Systems, selling X25, Frame Relay and ATM equipment.
Wim has a Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Ghent university in Belgium.
Wim is married and has 2 teenage kids. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, snowboarding, wakeboarding and occasional kite buggying.

Dr. Pierre De Muelenaere is a Belgian entrepreneur and scientist. In 1987, after he received its Ph.D. in Applied Science, he created the Belgian company I.R.I.S. with the financial help of the Belgian holding company Ackermans & van Haaren. Pierre De Muelenaere has been leading I.R.I.S. through all its development steps and is currently the President and CEO of the company. In 2008, the company, which has become a world-wide leader in the field of Intelligent Document Capture and Document Management had a staff of more than 500 people, with a revenue of more than €100 million.

Hans Constandt

Hans is Ceo and Founder at Ontoforce, a Belgian health IT company that develops and implements innovative technologies in data, information & knowledge management with its linked data application DISQOVER that will make drug discovery significantly more effective to help patients worldwide. Besides that he’s also co-founder at Schoolkid,a non profit company to help information integration and dashboarding to make school data reusable in Flanders and beyond. 
Mr. Constandt has more than 18 years of business experience and a solid technological background. He is an expert with regard to semantic web technology.
